ESU #3
The ESU #3 Foundation was established in 2008 as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) from the United States Department of Treasury. The foundation supports programming for children with special needs at our Brook Valley Schools and to support our Gifford Farm Educational Center. The foundation allows donors to make contributions to our programs through a tax-exempt status.

Brook Valley School
We began in 1996 as the Gifford Farm Project. The original setting was a one room building on the Gifford Farm property in Bellevue. A growing enrollment prompted a move to southwest Omaha in 1999 and the new name - Brook Valley School. We serve students with severe special needs from eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa.

Brook Valley School students have unique abilities and disabilities that include:
* Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
* Developmental and language delays
* Sensory processing difficulties
* Emotional regulation problems
* Behavioral problems

Gifford Farm Education Center
Gifford Farm Education Center, a department of ESU #3, has been offering outdoor education programs to students visiting the farm on school-sponsored field trips and community activities since 1973.
